So enough about all this constant whinage about how bladedancer is in PvP (yeah I know he killed you, but it's ok. You can get him next time).
How about we direct our attention to the bladedancer's lack of performance in PvE?
Yes I'm a hunter. No I'm not whining or crying.
Bladedancer super as a whole is virtually outclassed by a stick in high level content. The entirity of end game missions revolve around avoiding fire and surviving. Bladedancer flies in the face of this logic, including a super with barely more dps than a standard melee, and the inability to kill a single major/ultra, much less a standard unit without him first killing you. Plox buff. Would love to hear thoughts.
Edit: I'll admit, most of the supers aren't particularly effective at high level content. But at least you aren't required to kill yourself to execute a super.
Further edit: I know bladedancer is good for revives. That's why I'm talking about the super. Why should we be restricted to only one viable BD PvE build? Also, you know you can play gunslinger then switch to BD mid-fight for crouch invis to revive.
Further further edit: If anyone wants to say BD was designed for PvP and Gunslinger for PvE that's ok. I can see how most classes have certain PvP and PvE aspects. This makes sense. It would be ok. But providing 6 subclasses with equal viability produces increased diversity and replayability, if that's what Bungie is needs.
Maybe sort of final edit: Why can't different subclasses have increased viability? I'm a fan of diversity. Every MMO and RPG should feel this way. I know Destiny is not inherently both, or either. But adding diversity to each subclass to provide for varying roles and playstyles within each aspect would provide infintely more customization, diversity, and enjoyment; especially with the people that don't want to have the same raid gear and the exact same build to do certain things at end game. People choose different classes for a reason. Why not have increased viability to further differentiate end game guardians?

Bladedancer came in handy BIG TIME in this weeks Nightfall Strike! In the boss room the Psions with their Void shields are the toughest part of that Strike and what gets us killed. 1 guy was down and we were pinned in a horrible spot. 3 Psions were on the other side of the crates we were hiding behind. I activate bladedancer and with the help of Arc Burn I took all the Psions out! Clutch moment that bought us a lot of time! - With this, yes as a Hunter I understand BD doesn't have much use in End game PVE situations.
