I received "The Cure" which I believe is a Future War Cult rocket launcher as a reward from a strike. It happens, it's neat - they constantly prove in this game you don't have to grind for marks or rely on random drops, as both occur you have the option for either and sometimes things just fall in your lap =)

I think Faction specific gear shouldn't drop but the fact that there's nothing too special about any one of them makes it a moot point.
