If the DLC offered us the cut content [b]as well as[/b] completley new content we haven't seen before, then I'd be ok with paying for it. But I feel like it isn't that simple, and that the DLC was supposed to be part of the game anyways. Or something else even more convoluted.

I feel like this DLC crap is all Activision's doing. Them knowing all this information before release and they still push the add on?

Yeah, same here. Back when Bungie signed on with Activision, I immediately started to get worried that something bad might happen to the game or the studio. It turns out that my gut feelings were sort of correct : \
