Yeah, I'm leaning very, very strongly to believing that this is [b]legit[/b], despite Deej's allegations that it is us simply being 'trolled'. Funny enough, the fact that he/she can't provide their identity to Reddit mods due to "fears of reprisal" actually makes this seem more legit than not. This is something that happens all the time in the game industry, where devs are too afraid to speak up about anything because it would end up being career suicide and/or extensive legal action against them.
