I like this. Some legendary/exotic armour could have a symbol like each weapon to let u know what resistence it excelled at. Struggling on a boss? Go get a set of kenetic resist armour or whatever.not reiventing the wheel, but it would add a layer of depth to gear

Exactly! The mechanics are already on the NPCs so I can't imagine it would be too hard to add elemental resistance to armor. Resistance could even be based on what faction you decided to rank up! FWC solar, dead orbit void, new monarch arc, as an example.
