Just plug it straight into the wall. This should fix any issues you have.

Character data was corrupted during the update on 9/25 and they're still theoretically working on it. If I could see my character on Bungie.net then I might try that (since I enjoyed playing). My network setup worked just fine before that 9/25 patch, no reason it shouldn't now. Besides having a device on your network wide open like that makes it and the rest of the network much more vulnerable.

Not sure why that would work, but it might. Thank you for the suggestion.
