We paid for a whole story plus a multiplayer mode. We got great multiplayer, and a boring incoherent story that was built using leftover scraps from an actual story they ditched for no apparent reason a year ago.

People like you are every employers worst nightmare. Read the coherent complaints, not the hurr durr ones. Its not even really about size, we all know that will grow. The mechanics of the game are solid and the music and art beautiful. The problem is the game s so soulless. No one can remember anything or get invested in this supposedly immersive world(s). It feels like it got a last min dumb down because a deep, incredible story would scare off the CoD crowd. Or it could be sold to us later. You want people to be excited? You have to give them a solid first offering, and get them absorbed, and feel like an integral part of the game. Thats why games like WoW became so successful, not just size...
