Because Destiny still has the foundation to be GOTY, it just needs a lot of work.

Why do you care so much about which game is game of the year? Does Destiny being GOTY put food on your table, does it cure the illness of a loved one, does it pay your bills?

GOTY was a shorter way for me to convey that Destiny can live up to the expectations set by Bungie; I want this game to turn out to be good. Don't play dumb.

You mean a week from never? Not too worried.... DLC sales will be fantastic as the supporters buy it and so do the haters so they can hate on it. Either way, its a win/win for me. I get amused by the haters and they help support DLC sales so we get even more. #yay
