Petition: Remove Sniper Rifles From the Game
Now I don't want to alter your definition of what a man is, because we all know real men drive Fords, love sports and devour chicken wings, but we need to remove sniping from the game.
[b][i][u]There is nothing more beta than a sniper rifle[/u][/i][/b]
When it boils down to it, sniping just isn't manly enough to be a part of this game. In a world full of giant aliens, macho guardians, and masculine bravado, what room is there for a weapon that is, by design, a cowardly tool for worms?
Thus, I propose we remove sniping from the game, leaving only shotguns, knives, smgs and other manly short ranged weapons that really mean you need to get up close and personal with the person you are fighting instead of taking womanly potshots at them from across an entire map.
Be a man, Bungie, remove sniping.
[i]And for the snipers themselves[/i], time to stop being babies suckling at the teat of cowardice, grow up, [b]sack[/b] up, and be a man.

Edit: Yes, marine snipers are all just a bunch of Chelsea Mannings. I'd like to address that here since it keeps being brought up in the comments.

So are auto rifles And hand cannons And scout rifles And pulse rifles And shotguns And fusion rifles And rocket launchers And machine guns And each class And all supers And armor And melee And agility And battle recovery And toughness And all subclasses. I would say lets just put water guns in the game, but then people would complain about getting wet.

5 RepliesThat one of the best guns on here. Are you crazy. I have snipped people, just as they have snipped me. It's good fun. I get mad at myself for walking into an open space in pvp, knowing I'm about to get snipped. You learn from your mistakes and keep on going.

I petition to remove ALL guns from the game. Guns aren't manly, wrestle your foes with your bare hands is! Why have a machine that makes little round metal items fly into your enemies. You should fly your fists into your enemies! Don't be a wuss! Be a MAN! NO MORE GUNS IN DESTINY!

If you're not trolling, then you really need to look at you're gender stereotype problem. It's gamers like you that continue to feed the gender inequality divide in our gaming community. From the looks of it, you must hate snipers since you only roll with the bladedancer in crucible. What, then, will be your argument regarding masculinity when that subclass gets nerfed for PvP?
