Bungie, quickly becoming the new worst company?
That's right I didn't include any option but yes. After leading on that the game would include all sorts of stuff, they hide it behind a pay wall and dlc.
Then I'm seeing people getting accounts banned for going into areas that are "off limits" after bungie said you could explore the areas you could see.
You can't include ways to access areas that are currently behind a pay wall and then ban accounts for going into the paywall areas. It's obvious the areas are locked on the disc but why do you think it's in any way correct to stop people from playing the game because you guys couldn't fix a glitch or completely block of an area that you shouldn't have even put into the game until the pay wall was available?
I mean EA is bad but I've never heard of them doing anything like this. You are quickly becoming the worst game company in the world bungie. But at least you'll be able to say your the best in something now.

2 RepliesQuickly? What's wrong with Destiny can be traced through what they've developed over the past decade. If you extrapolate Reach out into an MMO/FPS Destiny is basically what you end up with. Bad dialog, shallow gameplay, incoherent story, its all there. And what's wrong with Reach can be found, in embryo, in Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3, Halo 2, and even in Halo 1 if you look hard enough. What we're seeing now is just the evolution of bungie. Its not a sudden role reversal, its gradual change over time.

2 RepliesWith the information that has come out today about how the game was gutted I would say they are right up there. To me they have pretty much burned any goodwill they had worked up over the decade+ of Halo success.

3 RepliesNope. EA still worse. Ever heard of online passes? Pretty much locking the whole online part of the game behind a money ransom. How about Sims 4 and removing content for DLC? Or the Simcity incident? What about BF4 and it being a broken, unplayable pre-alpha at release (and still problematic today)? Not to mention Capcom doing this first with fighters locked away on disk. Bungie, nor Activision is anything close to EA. I got a fully working and fun game with Destiny. If you dont like it, no one is forcing you to keep the game. I disagree with disk locked content, and Bungie will be held accountable or to explain themselves, but they are no EA. Just look at Hardline, and thats all the proof I need.

Sorry destiny isn't another halo and you are aware that the publisher plays a huge role in things like.DLC release windows, cost of that DLC and such, right?

4 RepliesBungie is the best gaming company in the world. Unlike other gaming companies, Bungie is fixing problems ASAP. If this were CoD or Battlefield We would be waiting for the next dlc before anything would get changed... Even if the change isn't the greatest. (The last change could've at least replaced the cave but now there is no way of getting loot consistently fast. But its not my problem I'm set in this game :-)
