You said that they did Halo Reach right... ...Even though Halo Reach had way more stuff that didn't make it into the final game, unlike Destiny - a game that isn't even final yet. I specifically remember scenes/events not only from E3, but from Vidocs as well, of Reach gameplay that never saw the day of light. Classic case of ignoring evidence that contradicts one's own argument.

  • Ummm this game has been released. You undermine your own argument. Lots of games don't have things carry over to final release. But Halo: Reach had significantly more story, diversity of play, etc. This game feels lime it digressed from a year ago. It is also common knowledge from alpha testers and the beta, that there were tons of issues that weren't fixed for release. The "beta" was just a demo. That was the game and I'm sorry to say I bit, "because if this is the beta the whole game must be awesome" ...sadly the beta literally had all of the game minus VoG and about 10 mins of "story" cut scenes and dialogue.

  • They sold us an unfinished game for a full priced FINISHED one...And Require us to buy DLC to further finish it.. Classic case of ignoring evidence that contradicts one's own argument.

  • There's a very complicated answer to this, but simply put it's circumstancial and Reach actually did well despite the fact. Destiny however, did not.
