If I was one of the people not getting exotics, I'd think the same.
Honestly though... for most of the weapons, you aren't missing out. The Comedian is far better than the invective.
The Thorn and Bad Juju are underpowered. The Bad Juju especially. Worst gun I've used in any game.
Super Good Advice has extreme recoil making it only useful in extremely close quarters.
Both the Suros Regime and Gjallahorn are awesome... Both could be bought from Xur though.

I'll have to go over the list again, but I've seen at least 3/4 of them. Haven't seen the exotic sparrow or ship yet though. I believe all listed are currently available. They are releasing new exotics with the expansions though, as well as other new weapons, armour, missions, bounties and each comes with a new raid.

Yeah and they better damn well give me some more compelling story content if they want me to invest more money in this game lol. As it stands Destiny doesnt even have close to $60 worth of narrative.

$100 here in Australia. Got the limited though so expansions won't cost me any more. As for Narrative, if I think of it as an RPG, definitely isn't good enough. I think of it as more of a FPS though, in which I don't care about story so much. As long as I can kill things with friends and have a challenge, I'm happy. Dragon Age Inquisition and AC: Unity will give me my story fix soon enough.
