Iron Banner is a specific special case of Crucible where there is no normalization. You go in with what you have.

The iron banner is not the only pvp mode dipshit. We're not even talking about iron banner.

Getting that gun doesn't necessarily mean he worked hard for it. Regardless, I can't choose who I play against. I wouldn't be complaining about the gun if I could. So yes, if they are in the same game, I have to. The only other option would be to quit which is not fair to my team. Or, Bungie could nerf the weapon type everyone has been complaining about since launch and everyone would be happy.
