This is the only game I have ever preordered, I bought this game not for multiplayer (which I do love) but for an immersive story. The campaign was a JOKE.
Multiplayer is literally the only redeeming quality. I'll never preorder another game and unless some serious changes are made I wont be investing any more money into this title.
Just my two cents.

The crucible is terrible...In my opinion. I even went as far as to start playing BF4 again unfortunately.

If this is your first preordered game, you are in no position to make judgements about games.

Edited by Kamical: 9/28/2014 6:17:39 AMI prefer to wait until a product is released and tested before I give it my money, I saw what Destiny WAS supposed to be and followed its development for a while. Based on past experiences with Bungie I expected what they had presented as being true, an epic story line with characters that you can really get into. The game was a let down for me on all fronts concerning the campaign. I've been playing games since before preordering was even a concept in the gaming community, I've always felt like it was a gamble that I'd rather not take. (Titanfall anyone?) Simply put, you're paying 60$+ to stick your hand the "mystery bag" that could be filled with shit or possibly a concert ticket, but if you wait a bit the contents of said bag will be revealed at no extra cost. I'd rather not to have feces on my hands, but ironically they're covered.

So you are telling me you didnt play the beta before preordering? Genius!
-
You couldn't play the beta unless you preordered, if I remember correctly.
-
You remember incorrectly
-
By what logic? He's probably played other games before now so of course he can pass judgement. Who the -blam!- cares if this is his first time preordering?
-
Edited by Jack0O7: 9/28/2014 5:30:42 AMHe didn't preorder Halo? GTA? CoD? Max Payne? Hitman? Sorry, then your opinion is worth about as much as the diapers you are wearing right now
-
Why? Because he's smart with his money? Preordering doesn't matter for shit if he's played just as many games as you.
-
Yeah he's sooooo smart that he didn't bother to do any research on his first preordered game ever! Go to bed kid
-
What good would research do? Bungie lied to us time and time again in their advertisements and wouldn't allow early reviews for their game. Your argument is flawed and you're coming off as immature.
-
So you didn't play the beta either?
-
The beta was severely limited and didn't provide enough content to form more than a basic opinion of the game. Most people that played it (from my experience) were saying things like "oh, it's just a beta it will be better when the game is finalized" or "there will be more content/story at launch." I don't think anyone that played the beta predicted that the amount of content (or lack thereof) in the beta was exactly what would be found in the game. So while the beta was in reality a GREAT source to base one's opinion off of, almost nobody thought it was at the time.

WHAT! A demo didn't have the whole game!?!?!???? YOU DONT SAY!!!!
-
WHAT! A demo didn't have the whole game!?!?!???? YOU DONT SAY!!!!
This post isn't even relevant. You completely missed the point of what I just said.
-
You don't have a point. Now go tell mommy to change your diapers.

What's the matter? Can't handle the fact that nobody agrees with you? Don't bother responding. I've dealt with enough jackasses and trolls for one day.
What's the matter? Can't handle the fact that nobody agrees with you? Don't bother responding. I've dealt with enough jackasses and trolls for one day.
LOL @ the unintentional irony.

Edited by NathanW18: 9/28/2014 5:34:38 AMWhy on earth would you have to pre-order games to have an opinion on them? Some people don't buy games on release. Maybe due to the cost or they're waiting to see if the community likes the game.
-
LOL @ all these obvious non gamers wondering why preorders are important to gaming!
-
LOL @ the industry lapdog that's oblivious to the fact that preorders are a corporate gimmick to sell overhyped lies to a gullible demographic.
-
LOL @ people who preorder games they know nothing about and cry about it on message boards.

"I prefer to wait until a product is released and tested before I give it my money, I saw what Destiny WAS supposed to be and followed its development for a while. Based on past experiences with Bungie I expected what they had presented as being true, an epic story line with characters that you can really get into." Learn to read idiot. He clearly did do some research if he followed development. It just so happens that the research he did turned out to be lies. Also how does pre ordering have any relevance here? Whether he pre ordered the game or not, it still sucked and didn't turn out to be what they claimed it would. Oh my bad, maybe we shouldn't pre order games, even though we've done a lot of research on it. Makes sense.
-
None of that says you played the beta. Kthanxbai

Bet you'll never preorder again.
