Exotic Gun Perk Problem
Hi all, i bought an exotic auto rifle and theres a perk third along from the start on it own called FOCUSED FIRE that slows the fire rate down and i clicked it by accident and im stuck with it on and its totally ruined the gun. It now fires like a scout rifle. Theres no perk beneath it to swap so im stuck with this on. I cant believe Bungie could put this perk on with no way to remove it, rendering the gun useless. Any ideas how to get this perk taken off as there doesnt seem to be any customer support address. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks

it shouldn't matter as the upgrade increases damage making the dps actually higher...

1 ReplyEither way if you won't like it you have to get that perk in order to upgrade the gun if you don't you will be stuck on that perk

2 RepliesThe slower rate of fire is compensated by extra damage. The point is to make your shots count. You should only ever be going for crit shots anyway and faster fire rates cause more recoil which means more misses. So basically there's nothing wrong with the guns perk, what's wrong is your method of spray and pray. Remember if it took more than one bullet you weren't using a Jacobs.

7 RepliesYou can't. That's the main point of the gun. That's pretty much why it's exotic. If you don't like it your best option is to dismantle it and get some ascendant energy for the next exotic you get
