1.0.2 Cryptarch Patch is gonna suck
Please do not change the Cryptarch to this. Doing so will suck the fun out of this game. The RNG system where you don't know what your gonna get by rolling a Engram is fun. I might hate it sometimes but it is still fun and if you take that away, what fun is gonna be left in this game.......NONE. So i say whats the point in playing a game where you have all the Items just handed to you with out any sign of grinding to get those items.... Having all the legendary's in the game handed to you is not fun.

It's not handed to you you piece of sheit. Do you know how long it takes to get a legendary engram without farming. Which you can't do anymore. The drop rate is so low that there is no word to describe the depth of it. And when you FINNALLY get one it's rare. The majority of legendaries drop rare. So shut up little a$$ cok Sukin cum shot.

1 ReplyRather then change it so drasticlly, they should have instead increased the chance of it being the same colour and decreased the chance of it being a lower colour, so u will get mainly legendary gear from legendary engrams but there is a chance that you can still roll down to a rare or up to an exotic

This is irrational. All of you who agree are irrational. Please tell me how the extremely rare purple you get just by RNG is going to be in the hands of people who don't do anything? No one sits in PVE and receives legendary. That's pvp. You can farm. Strike. Raid and so on. You people got so Damn used to being -blam!-ed in the ass by Crypatch that now you're begging for it? At the moment the drop rate of rare and legendary engrams is fairly high compared to the rate of actually acquiring a blue or purple item from those engrams, which is relatively low. I don't think we'll see more legendary items but we will see less purple engrams. That's my understanding of it anyway. The thing I I keep coming back to is how unbelievably young this game is for people to be getting so fussy about not getting the best items in the game. Someone here talked about moderation and they're totally right. This game has been out for less than a month and has 10 year projections. If you're not yet running a fully Legendary set with the perfect complimenting Exotic pieces, chill the -blam!- out. It's early EARLY days.

There's already plenty of grinding in this game.. Actually, that's all this game is. One big grind. Getting purples from a purple engram will only keep me playing. I approve.

I miss getting trolled by engrams. The new update makes the game to easy to get good gear. We should feel privileged to get legendary and exotic gear. You can simply buy that gear anyway and the queens missions just make it easy to get legendary items

So what kind of logic are you using? No MMO makes you go through two RNG: 1 to actually get the purple engram and the number 2 to actually -get- a purple or better item. And how is it a bad thing when they got fricking shops selling the shit anyway? I swear you people bitch about everything...

Personally, I think they should just remove the Uncommon chance from Legendary Engrams and Rares from Exotics. After that, tweak the percentages a bit and they're done. Instead we get the opposite of what we've been having and Bungie cave in and give people LOADS of Legendaries and Exotics instead. Enjoy all things in life in moderation. Neither extreme is good. One makes the loot system highly exclusive and random, the other devalues the loot to the point of being uninteresting and almost worthless. I don't get it. Making a game is like walking a tightrope; if you lose your balance, you fall off. Destiny has less balance after this Free-For-All update.

How is it handed to you? You play for hours on end and finally get a purple, you still might get a mote or a coin

You want better RNG flip a coin, heads delete it, tails keep. Done. For those I've see work for hours getting just two or one and get a green or blue, that's not right.

1 ReplyLegendary engrams are difficult to find if you aren't firing into the Holy Cave. It won't ruin the game, just fix the disappointment of all the people who found 8+ legendary engrams and got 0 legendary items from them.

Really wish they would go back on thus decision. Rng was fine and made legendaries somewhat like legendary. Now it's going to be no different from a rare pre-patch.

I never really found legendary engrams but when I do he screws me over hard. I'm like level 26 with this dude and as a gift he keeps giving me blue crap that turned into a level 14 stuff, WTF.

The only thing that will become too easy will be shard farming. People will always find a way to farm loot ridiculously fast, so to guarantee a purple would be to guarantee shards if they wanted them. On the other hand, I don't really care to be honest. Others peoples gear won't change my life.
