Decode your legendaries while you can?

13 Replies1. Because legendary engrams will no longer be able to give you rare items, but old legendary engrams wont get this change. I suspect that legendary drops rates will be nerfed slightly, so people being able to stock pile some legendary engrams between now and next week would be unfair.(Thats what I would guess but I dont know for sure) 2. Asit is legendary engrams do not have a high chance of being legendary items, and Bungie was just poking fun at that.

1 ReplyI feel like the satire in Bungie's post was lost on many people. Items that you have already decrypted will NOT be affected. Any legendary quality engrams that you have NOT yet decrypted will be reduced to blue engrams for you to decrypt. The last part is a joke on Bungie's part. "lawl, okay we know it's broken--you're more likely to get rare quality items from legendary engrams than legendary quality items."

It's not confirmed, but I assume the chance/percentage will at least slightly decrese though. So it's probably better to decode them now, but I don't think it will really matter, because as they jokingly (but truthfully) said, they'll probably be blue's regardless.
