I'd settle for Guild Wars 2's Transmutation system, you take a piece of armour you like the look of and paste the look on to the piece of armour you like the stats of using Transmutation Charges.

Good reference. I like it. I would like it to be deeper than just visual look though. There has to be a way to make it work but not make it overpowered. Thanks for your input. I appreciate you joining the conversation! Share this so we can bump it up.

Edited by Fawkzi: 9/26/2014 2:14:05 PMI suppose you could do like..trait transfer but only on minor things, for example say you have this really sick looking helmet but the traits are something like Carry more Ammo for fusion rifles. but you don't use a fusion rifle so you won't use the armour piece, it would be awesome if you could transfer that trait out to give you something you can use. maybe make it so that you have to have an item that has the desired trait and break that item down in order to transfer it on to the desired armour piece.

Perfect!! Exactly what I was thinking. There would be a cost involved with completing this process just as there is with any skill tree action for the most part. Maybe make it a tad more difficult to do but in the end, you would have a piece of gear that fit's your playstyle.

Edited by Fawkzi: 9/26/2014 2:27:05 PMA smart, though no doubt condemned by the community way to do it would be to only be able to transfer traits from legendary gear, so that way you still have to earn the progression in order to get what you want rather than just being able to do it with anything and everything whenever you want, that way you still have to earn it but don't have to worry about picking a piece of gear that is utterly useless to you.
