Lol guys who prefer peeps with mics and reason is "more successfull" attempt. B Please, dont say you didnt fail and it didnt took you that long at first attempt with mic
I was the only one without mic in the group and I have a guy who acts as mic for me, I send him message he speaks. I managed to guide all of us (in terms of getting to point A and B) input suggestions etc WITHOUT a MIC.
Now we're at final boss, we called it off there after many attempts since we need to figure out how can we take it down. Also it was already late xD
To the point
Please do not reject players who dont have a mic, as long as they can hear you clearly and know what theyre doing, youll be fine

Edited by g1mp0nt0ur: 9/26/2014 2:40:31 AMThe pve content in this game is in terms of mmo difficulty designed for people of the age of 2 or 3. Anyone who ever played some real mmo's know what I mean. I am 100% sure if the mechanics wouldn't require more than 1 person than even the raid would be soloed by now. All of the non raid content is at the development stage of 2001 in terms of encounter design(ultima/everquest/daoc-->2003 had those kind of bosses) At least the raid dungeon is at 2004. I think we killed those kind of encounters in blackwing lair back than. *sarcasm*

There's 0 you can say that having a mic out weighs not having it. Yes stuff can be done without it. But it is highly pefered to have it. And it's not 30$ everywhere. If you went on amazon.com and put bluetooth you'd find 9ne less then 30 aus $ 100%.

One person without a mic isn't that bad at all. Try all six. That's when it's will be bad haha.

My mic broke and I beat the Vault of Glass with some friends twice.

12 RepliesWould you not agree it would have been easier if you have said mic? Instead of going out of the way to talk

3 RepliesEdited by gilded_hotdog: 9/26/2014 1:41:06 AMYou didn't beat it so.... I say talk or goodbye. My first team had a mic less guy he was good but that's not the issue.

At a minimum 3 people need mics, to coordinate, other than that it's fine.

6 RepliesThe Xbox one COMES with a headset to use. Even if the problem here isn't Xbox only it's a lot easier if everybody in your team can communicate with only a second of delay time. Things always come up that require you to change tactics and find a different way. It's probably 200% easier if you can do that with verbal communication.

For sure. I just got a mic last week, but I rarely use it, I only got it for when im in the mood haha. I always stick with my fireteam, never run far ahead/drag behind, I dont needlessly run into battle and revive you if im not under heavy fire. I pull my weight, i just prefer to take a back seat and follow commands/the lead or whatever

1 ReplyAgreed, people like me who just got a new console to play destiny won't be able to afford a mic unless they have some spare work money.
