New Loot Cave! Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT saying I am the first but I did find it just roaming around looking for farming spots, if whoever, if there is someone who was before me sees this congratulations on finding it first!

EDIT: All the people saying, great now Bungie will patch this one. I have tons of more spots they patch one show another.
EDIT x2: To the left of the truck I was standing upon in the video, there is a platform that is a 10x better spot to view the cave just a word of the wise :D

I had 5 legendaries drop for me within 2 hours while doing bounties

1 ReplyThey when enemies start dieing a lot from players they need to up the rate and quantity of spawns to the point the players get overwelmed. Then you will have something for players to have fun.

This is the reason why if Bungie was going to nerf the cave they should have fixed the loot system at the same time. Not nerf the cave and then promise that they were going to do it.

My wife and I tried it last night. It's not quite as fast as the original and it really requires 2 people to do it efficiently. Still, we got just a bit more stuff in 30 minutes of looting it than we got in the subsequent 2 hours of missions, raids, and patrols. Thumbs up, will visit again.

5 RepliesCongrats, keep farming a loot cave all over the world of Destiny until bungie decides the only way to fix this issue is to limit your drops per level IE if the mob or area is 5 levels below you then nothing will drop engram wise. Or the other route is we all end up in an empty world because they had to patch out all of the fast spawns.

If you back down the hall way and jump on the box facing the part where the hive spawn is better. Or just run around that area. Three caves poor mobs into that area.

8 RepliesThe loot system needs a serious overhaul... The loot cave case was hopefully a wake up call for the Bungie team. Mainly in the Crucible, but also overall. Getting more legendary engrams from a random mob drop more frequently then as a reward for a 30 minute strike is mind blowing imo. Keep the legendary engrams rare and hard to get like now, but for the sake of our mental health do increase the rate of getting legendary items from them. I got 1 legendary belt for a Warlock (iam a Hunter) after I opened 10 engrams. And I would like to know how in the hell did the idea go trough of giving a strike BOSS same drop chances as for a lvl 4 mob spawning in a cave... Took down atleast 50 strike bosses and the best I saw was a green engram. What the actual f*ck! Please, PLEASE rework the loot system as soon as possible. :/

STOP good god. JUST STOP. You are going to make it so all spawns are nerfed, resulting in EMPTY WORLDS. I look forward to running around looking for a single mob, how about you? :D

Edited by Zblur: 9/26/2014 2:59:32 PMI noticed this in my chest runs around that area. I was not sure how productive it would be. The fight on mars might be better...or..."You woke the hive!!"....the real fix which Bungie mentioned is better rewards for raids and strikes.

Lol much egg on face for Bungie. I'll probably never try this but it's pretty funny that not long after they patch the cave that another spot is discovered.

7 Replieslol i found it funny how Bungie was like "shooting at a black hole for hours on end isn't our dream for how Destiny is played" and so they nerfed the loot cave, and im here thinking "well if you guys improved the loot system and story and plenty of other things, we wouldn't be farming the loot cave" well GG to Sterben for finding us another loot cave :P i might pop by and see who's there and join them hahaha
