what's your opinion on the movie Elysium? possible spoilers...
What's your thoughts on the movie Elysium? It was good but the endin was confusing as hell.
I mean yeah we have the Med bay thing that can fix a guys -blam!-ing face and revive him after it was blown off by a grenade and killed him.
But
[spoiler]youre tellin me the guy who just uploaded files from his brain and killed himself in the process can't be revived by one too?[/spoiler]
As anyone else notice this?

Kruger (Shartlo Coopley) is brilliant. He basically carries the whole film. However, I don't enjoy the sociopolitical ham fisted messages the movie permeates throughout its running time. I do agree with a lot of its sentiments, but they're not exactly subtle. I don't watch a film to get propagandised.

I honestly felt like they rushed the ending for Elysium. It's been awhile since I've seen the movie though, I think it's because he partially survived the blast, so they were able to reconstruct him. Maybe his brain was completely damaged.
