Bungie is the worst game development company ever. Discuss.
Four Queens' Bounties = 4 terribad queen's vests. Only the saddest imaginable company could continue to produce pure crap under the guise of "groundbreaking innovation". Looks like they took our money and ran ladies and gents. Thoughts?
Ps. Expecting the insta-ban. How else do you defend absolute mediocrity?

My buddy is so upset, he wants to find out who made the decision to pull all the content for preplanned DLC releases, make them a Facebook account, then join Tinder so that he can ruin their marriage.
That's how ASS Bungie is. They're able to inspire that level of hate within 2 weeks of releasing their "masterpiece".

I'm the dude that gave him the white PS4 with the game for his birthday, I feel like a bad friend, I should have given him Diablo 3 UEE along with the Destiny bundle. A game with such great gunplay and ideas, should have more content and a better risk vs. reward system. The Queens event is a good step, but it does not solve the overall problem. How is it okay to say, you must pay $35-$40 additionally to get the full game? I feel like this is a Beta and I hope I get a complete game by December (A guy who bought the Ghost edition). How do I now convince all my other pals to shell out more $ to get the "full game"? The social aspect is the only thing keeping my group of friends together, but as we start to go insane, we need Bungie to comment solidly on the future of Destiny. Some of you guys truly make me sad with the hate. My friend does not want to play CoD, he wants his space magic RPG to be full of content and a worthwhile reward system. You guys should be ashamed of yourself, just spitting out ignorant, obtuse statements. He didn't even go into opinions about the Crucible...

1 ReplyNah. Go play the old Myth games Bungie developed, Myth the Fallen Lords and Soulblighter. They were great, some of the best games I've played. Destiny, I'm just looking at it and thinking WTF happened?

1 ReplyThe game is fun when you have something to do but when you are done with the missions it gets old fast. I too am kind of disappointed i actually thought it would be like skyrim with guns where you could do a bunch of other stuff even after the story missions.

Bungie is great, they have been making wonderful games for well over a decade. Just because things dont go your way doesnt mean bungie is bad. Learn to code a video game on such a massive scale, learn how the production process goes. You clearly have no idea about the process of making a video game, like most of the people complaining on the forums. Get educated, sit back, and shut up! the only reason you are on here on the forums is because bungie exists and the game was made, u just happened to buy it and as your opinion stands, you don't like it. Shut up, return the game if you are really that hard pressed against bungie and move on with your life!

15 RepliesThe current state of the game hardly warrants them being the "Worst Development Company". I don't think you understand how the gaming industry works or how a game is made for that matter. I've said this over and over, the game has it's flaws and some are glaringly obvious that it looks like most of the content has been cut or moved to dlc. You know whose decision that is? The publisher. The guys backing them with the monies. I'd say the current state of the game, is pretty mediocre but a strong foundation. I don't know what Bungie has planned along this 10 year endeavor, but the start is a little rocky. And it all leads to the money. The [b]people[/b] that make the game, do so cause it's freakin awesome and fun. You really think they wanna screw the players over on purpose? Corporations f-ck the players more often than the developers. Bungie continuously delivered content for Halo and it was solid. They didn't have to do that and they don't have to now. The content delivered so far has definitely been "meh". But calling them out as the worst is incredibly ignorant.

They basically revolutionized shooters forever with Halo...and Destiny is pretty good just has some flaws like very other game. Give them a chance it's their first "mmo" experience

Bungie is an awesome developer. Well, that is until they lost their lead composer and writer. But still, they are a good development company. So much seems to have been ripped from the game and essential tools are not there that are required for online socially based games. The question is, can they overcome the evil that is Activision, learn how to operate an online social game on console or will they be unable to deliver and relegated back to single player development? Bethesda/Zenimax - great single game developer in Elder Scrolls - completely failed at Elder Scrolls Online due to their lack of experience. Perhaps the same is true for Bungie?

But they are making bank off the false promises, so they won't and five years down the road the game will have as much story and content as you should see in an initial release, before expansions. And you will still be defeneding that ghost while he cracks yet another uncrackable code on a door...

Looks like they cut back the servers because ever since this Tuesday I've had dcs and errors out the ass. It's completely frustrating and caused me to not be able to complete the last boss on the raid. I will probably migrate soon to my old game, I can't finish anything with the dcs and a lack of content is getting dull. They got our money, that's all they cared about. Thy are owned by activist now. Money cows. Goodbye halo glory days of bungie

1 ReplyThe worst developer ever is Overkill (devs of Payday 2). That $60 disc isn't the full game and shouldn't be. It's a ticket to gain entrance to a 10 year concert. Moreover, If you didn't expect to need DLC then you should go back to 1998.

No. And that was on the computer a platform more integrated for games like destiny. Not saying the console doesn't work just the fact that it is the first game of its kind on a console. Its gonna start off slow that is expected. But it will continue to grow. Now to say bungie is horrible? They developed one of the best games to ever be released if you need a reminder that was halo. And I bet that everyone of 360 or even xbox one owner at one time or another played halo and most of them must've liked it alot like alot alot. But those same people are so short sighted that they just throw bungie away saying they suck. They dont. They are one of the few companies that care about the players. Please if you hate destiny return it quit complaining. And leave the true players who like destiny and don't stab bungie in the back and leave us alone. Better off without you
