Quit Defending This Game
You're just feeding the fire. I was pleasantly surprised last week to see what this forum could become, which is a community of people helping others out with tips and tricks, talk of gameplay for those who actually enjoy it, and sharing of experiences. I thought all those who hate that we like this game had finally given up, but new ones have risen. No one is changing anyone's mind so let's help the haters move on by ignoring them. We, those who are enjoying the game, do not have to defend it from those who do not. Let's get back to building our community, please!

This game in its current state reminds me of Fire Fight from Halo because its a constant repeat of the same scenarios over and over and all you get are some more powerful items just to make it easier do it all over again. Just for this reason alone I primarily stick to playing Clash since it gives me more of a challenge playing against other players.

The game isn't amazing. It's fun though. It was definitely over hyped. I don't feel ripped off though.

7 RepliesThe gameplay is awesome. Theres just not enough of it that's original. All this farming gets old, a bit is fun but hours and hours is too much just for a chance at good gear. Doing the same mission on super hard difficulty is not doing a new mission. I think something needs to change with engrams in general. I can also really understand the comments that this feels like an incomplete game. Maybe less big named voice actors and a some more meaningful dialogue? I mean, there were like 5 cutscenes in this game. Baldurs gate 2 had more. After Skyrim and F: New Vegas theres no excuse on making a well rounded game, the template is there, just steal from it. Even the halo series. Just mash skyrim and halo together and you have destiny pretty much. Maybe a dash of F: New vegas and borderlands. I know its not an rpg alone but if its going to bother with a story and building a character who can join factions etc then why not make it good and fun? Well done with the aesthetic and gameplay, I enjoy it a lot, now give us a reason to care other than 'this faction has this stats and this weapons to pwn da noobs in pvp init.' I constantly feel like im a bit out of the loop. This secretive hype campaign sucks and has really backfired. The world just feels shallow. They really better flesh things out or this isnt going to last ten years.

Hate is necessary when they clearly lied about the game. It's still fun but they did lie and need to be responisble for their lies and apologize no matter how fun the game is.

I enjoy the game as well and now that new content has arrived all the bitching is back. Hopefully those peasants will leave by next week again.

I enjoy the game immensely. However, it has several glaring flaws in my opinion. It is possible to critique something without hating it. I have my issues with the game, doesn't mean I don't love the game.

go to reddit this isn't a communal site, there's no support from devs or mods they post once a day about random shit no one cares about.
