I don't know why myself and everyone I play with keep getting a different classes item. I get legendary engrams which turn out to be for a hunter when I'm a warlock . This needs to be fixed!

Dismantle that other class armor for ascendant shards! U will need them badly for upgrading!

Same boat bro. I have an entire set of hunter legends now. I should just level that class. It'd be faster.

I think the idea is that you're supposed to make a character for each class, and if you get gear for another class, you put it in the vault and give it to your other characters. Which is cool in theory. But the problem is that if you really love one specific class and you're trying to level up that character, its super annoying to work hard to get something and then have that item not apply to your favorite character.

then make a hunter......there are 3 charichter slots you know, and its not hard to get to 20......

Maybe people don't want have play as that character? Maybe they are happy playing as the class they are now?

your choice then, you can cleary read that it says (random class) right there on the engram, mabie they want to put a market place or trading feature in in the future, who knows, it was the same way in the beta too, im still wishing beta stuff carried over, but it is as it is, and i kinda like being able to switch between chars as the need arises, personaly i like locks the best but hunters re cool too

I'm aware that it says "random class" and that doesn't stop me thinking that it's a stupid idea to have something like that. I only seem to be capable of 'earning' exotics for other classes, and I'm honestly sick to death of it.
