There's really nothing to use your glimmer on to be honest. I've hit the 25k glimmer cap a couple times and settled with buying a 2,500 glimmer new ship and as many heavy ammo synthesises as possible. I see glimmer pretty minimally useful aside from buying cosmetics, ammo, and cheap weapon upgrades. If you don't get a reward in the Crucible, I also find that pretty frustrating (along with the RNG).
I propose the ability to receive upgrade materials from Crucible, Strikes, Raids, Story, etc. Not just patrol. In all honesty no one enjoys picking up spirit bloom after spirit bloom. It isn't difficult to get, it's just tedious and annoying. Even the most minimally intelligent toddler can run around playing eye-spy searching for these materials. Not everyone enjoys grindy searching, so please give us alternative methods to earn these materials. Thank you Bungie.

6 RepliesLet's just make the game way too easy... You can tell a lot of you get things handed to you. You know why I have a lot of legendary stuff? I worked for it.
-
I always run out of glimmer, just buy extra armor from the cryptarch to level him up and get more material for armor/weapon upgrades .
-
Yeah I'd like to be able to buy them. It's quite annoying to spend hours upon hours farming spinmetal, helium, spirit bloom, and relic iron...only to get, say, 7 of them. Bleh.
-
2 RepliesI wouldn't mind having more things which you can spend all that glimmer on. Or at the very least be able to deposit the glimmer onto your vault?
-
1 ReplyI wish I could just buy it too. I need so much if it but I don't have the time at all to spend collecting hundreds of materials. As for it leveling factions too easily, I don't care. Who does it hurt? I'm stuck halfway through vanguard rank 1 because I don't have the time to be able to rank up. Stuck at lvl 25/26 and going nowhere fast

6 RepliesI think we should be able to buy crucible marks with our glimmer.

It would have to be carefully implemented. The glimmer cap stays, each material needs a different price point. Either make it a weekend vendor that has them or limit the amount you can buy of each one. Glimmer is useless right now though so something needs to be added. I know they have that Guardian outfitter lady but her shaders suck and I've gotten most of hers just from crucible (I get a lot of shaders). Plus she never refreshes her stock.

2 RepliesEdited by BlackHawkDrunk: 9/20/2014 10:39:34 PMBuy extra heavy ammo for raids & strikes. They're 950 glimmer each cartridge and useful as hell.

Yes this

I do have a lot of spare glimmer I'm in
-
I don't mind farming for materials, but I wouldn't mind this change either so I'm in!

1 ReplyWELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF RPGS KIDS! YOU HAVE TO GRIND FOR THINGS!

3 RepliesThat'll make leveling up factions to easy.

3 RepliesUse that glimmer to further your cryptarch rank. Thats what I do, i'm almost rank 10 with him, it will help you in the long run as well, along with improving the odds of getting something great when you turn in those legendary engrams.
-
yeah, we need another seller that comes once a week with all these things available.
-
2 RepliesOr go farming materials and yell in joy you you get a chest with 12 materials at once =D
-
I'd just like to buy a friendship with the cryptark so we can all be happy with our engrams
-
Ya all I real buy are ammo synsethsis and its real all u can buy I was think about making a forum about this but he I am :)
-

-

There's nothing more boring honestly in this game to me than going out to the patrol and just running around constantly looking for spirit bloom, helium capsules, relic iron and spin metal. It's really quite annoying and I'd rather buy it. Make this game more fun, allow us to buy these materials rather than doing all this grindy searching. It's annoying and dumb. <3[/quote] bump!
