The strike bosses are rather boring. It's the same scenario: take out baddies surrounding bullet sponge, then fire on bullet sponge. Rinse and repeat. Come on guys, have a little bit more creativity. How about this for a boss: a huge conglomeration of vex bodies interlocked with eachother to make a flying metal Dragon. In fact the whole goal of the strike is to chase this boss and find out how to get on top of it so that you can take it down. Imagine, chasing it through one of our desolate cities on our sparrows (or pikes). This thing would be colossal, like the size of a ship. In our pursuit of the dragon, it would drop parts of its "body", to stop us. In other words, this interlocked vex would drop down and try to stop us. Eventually, we would cause it to crash, but just enough time for us to ramp our pikes up its back, before it takes off again. Imagine flying high up in the sky on this dragon. You enter a cloud and your vision is impaired. But red eyes begin to shine through these clouds. Vex are climbing out of the dragon's back to stop you from reaching the "head". It's an intense fight, the ground you are on is constantly shifting, the wind threatens to blow you off, buildings whiz by as it dives into another desolate city. A glowing red eye on the back of its head is the goal. You and your fireteam do whatever you can to destroy it, as more and more vex attack you. Eventually, it seems like you one. The Dragon gives out a cry, and begins to dive. But then its whole body starts to fall apart as whatever energy that held the vex forms together is dissipating. The Dragon's body begins to scatter into the air while you are still on it. You summon your speeder just in the nick of time and ramp off its head, just as the Dragon crashes into the ground, sealing your epic Victory. That would be awesome. No ghost hacking, no cliche crescendo events, the strike would be awesome fun.
