where to trade in materials?
Title pretty much explains it. Wondering what to do with it
Edit: Sorry I just meant things like spin metal and other things, I didn't mean for the consumables too lol.

depends on the material. for spinmetal, helium fragments, spirit blooms and relic irons you can trade a stack of 50 of one of them into the Crucible vendor or the vanguard reputation droid in the hangar that sells legendary weapons. when you trade in the 50 materials, it gives you 25 reputation with a certain faction. Crucible if you trade with the Crucible vendor and either vanguard or one of the other factions (FWC, Dead Orbit or New Monarchy) depending if you're wearing a piece of class specific armor aligned to one of those factions or not. it also gives you 5 marks (vanguard or Crucible depending who you trade with), 250 glimmer and some experience. for the other crafting materials; ascendant shards/energy, weapon parts, etc., you can't trade those in. you can, however, put them in your vault to give to another character of yours if your alt(s) are in need of crafting parts. Consumables are the same. you can't trade them in for anything, but can give them to your other toons.

3 RepliesI'd use it to upgrade leg and exotic gear, but you can trade 50 in at the vanguard person who sells the weapons.

2 RepliesCan't trade consumerables but you can trade spin metal and Relic Iron to people. For vanguard trade it to shipyard quartermaster, for crucible go to the quartermaster that has the Legendary guns for sale. You need 50 for every trade, but it gives you 250 in glimmer and I think 25 in rank

I saw someone answered this, but you should prob save them, your gonna need them for upgrades to legendary armor.

Your going to need a lot of it, so if you see it. Collect it when u can and stock up. All light armor uses It to upgrade.

Just save it for when you get legendaries and exotics. Plus what they give you for it isn't worth it at all

You dont trade in consumables you use them to your advantage. You can trade in materials to the crucible robot downstairs and the vanguard armory robot. Though its better if you saved the materials youll need them for upgrades and you only get like 250 glimmer, 4 marks, and vanguard rep if you trade it in. Plus they require 50. Thats like 4-6 upgrades.
