I am with you; my excitement was shot and I was on my way to pre-order Destiny when my best friend and split-screen gaming buddy told me it wouldn't have split-screen. I did not buy the game because of it. I was very much looking forward to playing it with my little brother. I too very much enjoyed the Beta. I think that taking away one of the most basic, and the greatest, option in video games from the community that made them great through Halo, Bungie made a huge mistake. Yet what bothers me even more, is that our society has become so incredibly anti-social and owned by the technology itself that very few of us seem to care about this and want to use videogames as a means of strengthening real-life relationships. Gaming is becoming anti-social which defeats the point of games. :(
