Hi you all,
I beat the game last night and here are a few things that I'm pondering about. Could anyone help me out with these:
1) So, the Guardian's are dead people who possess the ability to wield the light? They have been long dead and have no memory of their past life? Is this right so far?
2) So, are the guardian alive now? Or, you know, more like an army of raised zombies?
3) What do Guardians do when not fighting? Do they have homes, go to the city or sleep in hibernation tanks or what?
4) Is the Traveler the good guy of this story in the end? What makes the Darkness bad? And what's up with those two!?! The Traveler using it's chosen people by raising them as it's own zombie army of guardians to fight the allies of Darkness is kinda dubious.
5) Ghosts. Are they A.I. machines created by the traveler or what are they? Do they have their own unique voice or are they some kind of collective?

1 ReplyDr. Shin?? Maybe this is stupid. But when you go to the archive. The ai is like "welcome dr. Shin"... I was a warlock when I did it. Havent done it with another character yet so not sure if it changes - but is that you? Dinklage is all like " who the fff?? never mind that".. im mean if it was dink who hacked in to access the archive wouldnt he know whos access he used??... think your character may have worked there in a past life....

Thanks for the replies so far! My post wasn't meant to be sarcastic or anything. I'm truly enjoying the game and just trying to get some kind of grasp on what we know so far. :)

1 Replybest forum ever i been waiting for more people to bring this up it seems like bungie expects people not see those holes do they expect them not to speak out. its rather said in my eyes bungie released a half ass game unfinish if they took about a year or so more to truly finish destiny i truly must say i think the game would been better. lets hope destiny dlc's feels every hole if not i am returning to pc mmorpg only. because i was really hoping destiny would be a game like the vrmmorpg from season 2 of sword art online (anime).

The trouble with episodic content of this nature is that they have limited time to make you care about the characters. This first episode ended without knowing anything about the speaker, the ghosts, the Exo Stranger, and most importantly, yourself! We know nothing about our own character! Here is where we need a little faith to see where it goes. Hopefully in Project Comet they'll expound upon all of these things so that we actually feel connected to the characters in the game. As it is, it's just point and shoot against mindless enemies with an even more mindless protagonist.

Plot holes, plot holes EVERYWHERE. Stories have plot holes, but god dam this one has so many its like they brought in a firing squad because it had the potential to be good.

I hope everything will be revealed by the end of this games content, at least to a certain extent.
