Ridiculous lag in the crucible matches

I am experiencing lag and hit detection problems

The crucible is running smoothly for me

First of all let me start by saying it's probably not on my end, I don't have the best internet but I get pretty good speeds, and I play other games just fine. I am either experiencing terrible lag, or the hit detection is way off, all this started in the beta, I took all in stride, thinking well it's only a beta and this is the exact reason for the beta, to stress test their servers and iron out the kinks. But no, I am actually experiencing worse lag than with the beta, poor hit detection, it takes at least 5 headshots to kill anyone with the Scout rifles, the pulse rifles and hand cannons are all but useless for me, and the only usable weapon is the auto rifle, and I use over half a magazine to kill one person. Bungie what's going on? The crucible is all but unplayable. Is any body else experiencing this, or is it just me?

  • Their is sometimes an amount of misplaced shots. I think it's a similar problem to that of Counterstrike back in the good old days where rates would differentiate between players causing some people to seem to have much smaller hit box's. And it takes the game a second or two to figure out that that you hit them in the face rather than their big toe. Hence why they will suddenly die after seemingly killing you first. What's more concerning is the fact I think bungie knows of this problem and couldn't fix it so instead added a flipping postmortem medal so you don't get too frustrated by it lol.
