4chan is over lol

So 4chan's founder, Christohper Poole, was found attending an Anita Sarkeesian demonstration a day or so ago. Of course, that's nothing, because the past few weeks of 4chan have been nothing but havoc throughout. It began with #Gamergate, which for the most part was fine. I'll get to the rest of that in a minute though. Then came the huge nudie leaks that originated there. Poole, without any explanation to his userbase whatsoever, implemented for the first time on 4chan in the 12 years it's been running, a DMCA policy that allows them to remove "copyrighted images." This is a big deal, but I'm not even done. Now the #Gamergate thing, all of the sudden, with no explanation, is now COMPLETELY prohibited from every single board on 4chan, including their infamous /b/ board, which supposedly allows anything, like gore. Christopher Poole attending a Sarkeesian demonstration is now the tip of this iceberg ready to crash. Bungie.net is pretty much more free speech than 4chan is at this point, which tells you something. Kinda ironic, extremely ironic in fact, to see a man who founded what some would call one of THE most misogynistic, racist shitholes on the internet... attending a speech about social justice.

 • Well... So, he's supposed to embody the traits of the average 4chan user? I would say that it elevates my respect for him that he could believe in social justice and still promote free speech on his board. But, the new policies come from the excesses of that community. The FBI is involved in both. He has to do something now, or they will close him out. Worse yet, that every ISP block him. These are real risks (more so from the Fappening than gamer gate.)
