Exotic weapon bounty... Impossible
I love Destiny but Bungie is losing my interest with stuff like this.
This bounty requires me to kill 500 guardians with void DMG . If I kill someone , I receive 1 point, yet if I die, I lose 2 points. How is any normal or even good players supposed to do this?
*EDIT* The issue has been resolved:

"It's not saying 500 guardians. It's saying 500 points of void damage on guardians. 5 points per kill. 2 points lost per death. I finished all three parts of the Thorn bounty in a day. I did the strike the next day and got my Thorn. It's really not that hard but very time consuming."

2 RepliesActually you dont. You're doing thorn and the pvp part is the easiest part. You lose less points for a death than you get for a kill so if you don't suck and stay positive you'll get it done

I have the same thing right now. And I'm doing all of this for a dumb hand cannon. I'll probably just dismantle it because I'll never use it.

I'm doing the same thing. Not good at pvp. I do know a fool proof plan, but it requires boosting. Whoever had this bounty get five others who have it. Join a fire team. Play rumble. Let then kill you then vice versa. If you start from beginning it will take 100 kills with no deaths. I know its a bad to do it, but affective.

U get 5 points for a kill and -2 for a death actually. Took me 15 games, at 10 mins a game is about 2h 30 mins and ~200 guardian kills to get it. And im a hunter i.e no void bomb EZ street kills.

1 ReplyYou've got it wrong, very kill is worth 5 points, every death is worth -2 points. I just did this bounty last night in 5 rumble matches. Averaging 22-8 every round winning all 5 rounds as well.

Little tip for the void damage stuff. It's a lot easier with a warlock. The nova bomb does void damage, equip a rocket launcher and/or a shotgun with void damage as well. His grenades are void damage too.

1 ReplyI actually did this part yesterday in about 2 hours. I played Rumble with a Void Shotgun. As long as you go even 1.0 KD per game you will always be gaining points. If you go Above 1.0, its really good, and you can even go a bit below 0.8 and still gain points. It's kind of a grind, but thats the style of Destiny. Another way you can do it is go into 3v3 Skirmish with some friends and try to go really positive, it should be very quickly. You also get 5 points for a kill, 2 for a death.
