where can I find hive major or ultra's?

Easiest way to do it is to do the moon mission "sword of crota" on lvl 20 difficulty. The hive majors/ultras are the guys with yellow health bars just in case you didnt know

2 Replieseasiest place I've found is down the stairs right in front of where you spawn in for patrols in old russia. There are always 3 down there.

Venus patrol farm spot, wait for the battle to start , kill everything, this works for fallen and hive.

1 ReplyPlay Shrine of Oryx on Hard.You'll get to a point where Ghost says"These Fallen are just as crazy as we are."Proceed a little further and you'll find a room with a pit in the middle that has a lot of Chosen Acolytes and a Chosen Wizard.Kill all the enemies except one, jump in the pit, and you'll reset back to where Ghost says "These Fallen are just as crazy as we are."Do this a bunch to grind for Bounties and Glimmer.

Just spawn in the earth patrol, look to your left there will be a small building with stairs leading down, check there, there will be 3 hive enemies with yellow bars, they all count towards the progression, when all 3 are dead just leave the building and come back, they will automatically respawn.

Just run one of the moon missions with a heroic modifier, you will get a ton of them and can clear it out pretty fast.

Go to earth patrol. Go left path and go into the small room with stairs. Go down the stairs and right and the room to the right will have 3 hive majors. Leave the place and go back to where you first started and repeat till your done.
