Exotic Weapon Bounty - Which One Should I Pick?
Hey. So, while terning in some Crucible Bounties trying to get to rank 2 reputation, the screen cane up for me to choose an Exotic Weapon Bounty. The three options are for Thorn (Hand Cannon), Bad Juju (Pulse Rifle), and Invective (Shotgun).
I'm pretty torn on what to pick. I like Hand Cannons and Pulse Rifles in PvE, Pulse Rifles and Shotguns in PvP. I have a Legendary Shotgun already.
Based on any experience with them, anyone know which one I should go with? Please and thank you for the help.

OP here. I love how I'm still getting replies like two weeks later. I ended up picking Bad Juju and honestly regretted it. They said they may buff it soon, but I put it in my vault. I'd rather use Mida Multi tool or Gjallarhorn. I have the bounty for the Fusion Rifle right noe. 8/10 broken. I'd loooove to get Ice Breaker over about any other Exotic weapon.

7 RepliesInvective is bad ass, full auto shotgun right off the bad, solar damage, and it has the ability to regenerate ammo. It's the only other weapon in the game to do this, besides some exotic sniper. Has good mods for stability, so auto shotgun with good stability. Thorn is great for PVE, so I've heard. It's really good for bleed damage on bosses, but in PVP it seems to take 2-4 shots depending on how good your aiming is and getting headshots. Bad Juju is an amazing pulse rifle that's probably just useful in PVE but probably in long PVP maps as well, it gets good mods, as well as the ability to never have to reload. It instantly reloads itself (or something like that), that's the hardest of the 3 to get though I believe, cause 25 strikes is just so long an tedious. Lol

Yesterday I got the exotics Gjallarhorn (Rocket) and MIDA Multi-tool (Scout Rifle) out of Legendary engrams. I guess I just got super lucky. I feel as if Bad Juju had some potential, but it's definitely too weak out of the gates. It is out classed by blue Pulse Rifles quite easily. If I got to pick over again, I would have picked Thorn. Hand Cannons just put out a lot of damage. I really do like MIDA Multi-tool so far, though.

1 ReplyFrom my experience of the two I'm working on bad juju sounds easier to get after doing thorn i would happily do 25 strikes any lvl and wait for Zurich then get the 10000 points in crucible then go through 45060 points of void damage skills (hunter with a fusion only for void) and killing xylor for me was a pin to get a group and a bigger pain killing him but thats just my opinion after getting it it is pretty bandanas. But I'm getting excited about finishing juju heard its pretty decent so ill happily get use to it

I have the shot gun. Am now working on the the other two. I actually have the two other bounties active. Did the 25 strikes, wasn't that bad, did the vanguard strikes on level 18. Cruised through them. Had good random fire teams.

5 RepliesI heard bad juju sucks for impact, but it is the only primary I know of that does Void Damage. My buddy did both Invectus or whatever it is, AND thorn. The shotgun fires amazingly fast and full auto, but almost always takes two hits in PvP, and is hard to manage. He says thorn recoils like a bitch, but there is a perk to stabilize it greatly he hasn't unlocked yet. It does do massive damage in PvE, but only 6 rounds.

4 RepliesI'm working on the exotic fusion rife. I have to dismantle 10. Rare or higher fusion rifles. I wish I would have known this was a possibility, cuz I've dismantled dozens... Now I can't find any. Maybe the store will sell them soon.

I have bad juju and it's a really decent weapon been testing it in PvP mainly and it does it's job pretty nicely don't have thorn myself but I have seen it in action and it is pretty beast out of the two I would probably go with thorn but i am a handcannon fanatic :P

Pick the pulse rifle bad juju because you like it for PVP and PvE and you already have a badass shotgun but I did hear that bad juju has a short ammo holder but I'm not entirely sure

I'm working on Bad Juju right now. I just finished the 25 strikes which took around 5 hours of farming. It seems easy, just fairly time consuming and the one issue I had with it is that you have to talk to Xur, so if you start at the beginning of the week, you have to wait until the weekend to continue it.

I went with Thorn because I'm best with hand cannons. But atm I'm stuck at the pvp part lol.

1 ReplyI chose the one for Thorn since I've come to love hand cannons. I knew hearing from everyone else's experience that things were going too good. (First few missions were easy). Then I got to having to do the moon strike (level 26) and it had the epic modifier, where almost every enemy has a yellow HP bar and overshield. And no match making.
