the Best Thing I've Seen In This Game
So my buddy and I were patrolling on the moon, and I was just dancing on a cliff while he was finishing the Knuckleduster (Melee 30 enemies w/o dying) bounty.
I said, "Watch you die with one left, haha"
Right then a public event happened and it said protect the Warsat, so I jumped and glided 360 style looking for where it will land.
Two or three flashes of light and a humongous boom later, I see that my comrade has fallen. The Warsat landed right on top of him in a big open field where it could of crashed anywhere!
He had one kill left when he died... I was literally crying because I was laughing so hard.
Anyone care to share their funniest Destiny moment?
Update: I was patrolling on Mars, chest farming and I was hit by a cabal shield, and like many I was sent flying. But not into a wall or another cabal like everyone else.
I flew about 350 feet above the exclusion zone wall straight up into the air and hit the invisible ceiling. It scared me so hard I blinked back up into the ceiling a second time before misjudging my blink to try to land safely and imprinted my body into the sand between 4 cabal instead, haha. I could see the curvature of Mars basically, haha.
Update 2: Botched a grenade in PvP on Blind watch, bouncing it in a doorway just after an enemy enters, I try to run out right when it explodes and I kill myself and the burn gets him, so he got no points due to the suicide, and I got the kill, had me laughing for a while of how pissed and flabbergasted he must of been of that incredible luck.

Doing the dust palace strike when i lauched two rockets at the last scion. When the first rocket smash him up in air the second exploded right next to him lauching him off the edge of the palacade, laughed my ass off since he was at full health.

another good one i got today, me and two buddies were doing patrol missions, one was completing the 100 kills without dying mission. WHILE im saying "watch your gunna die with 99 kills" a rocket from a cabal blasts him to oblivion

I was on the moon riding my sparrow in a fight with some moon vandals when I hit a rock, and ended up doing a backflip. While I was in mid- air all the vandals were barely missing and I felt like Neo. That feeling ended when moments after a perfect landing I went to run over a vandal, but had just enough momentum not to kill him but have my sparrow explode. He then proceeded to shoot my corpse until I respawned.

I was protecting my fire time like a defender should and my uncle Longshot_SOD on his warlock whipped out his rocketluncher to take out a squad of cable troops. Right as he fired my shield went up around us both and the rocket didnt quite make it out in time lol he blew him self up inside my protective safty bubble of doom. Lol he was so mad becuse he only need like 100 more xp for his bounty too lol

Another warsat. I was standing near where I thought it would land. Wanting to see the beautiful effects they made for it I stared directly into it. And as I watched it get bigger it wasn't until too late that I realized it was actually getting closer. I watched it fly right into my character... Good times

1 ReplyStarted a Patrol on Mars. Went forward about 100m to where the Cabal spawn on the left from some buildings, and Vex from a cave on the right (this would make a good farming spot as both races keep respawning) Anyway, a Public Event popped up, I had to stop a badass Vex from getting to some checkpoints. 20 seconds in, the badass started fighting with the Cabal, and where they kept respawning, the Badass kept fighting and not pushing on to the next checkpoint...all the while, the counter was counting down. I ended up getting the Three Gold award for completing the Event, and I didn't fire a shot !! ...thanks Cabal :-) Loving Destiny !! Rich

I ran up jumped down into the shallow crater and insta death, completely forgetting I can pick it up at the postmaster, I try several more times, then my buddy joins in to see if he could land safely...it was pure ignorance, stupidity, and being just completely tired from work. The only thing that stopped us was an event eventually landed at our location. Oh yeah the engram was just motes of light.

The best thing is getting Postmortem kills in PVP with the aftershock from a Fist of Havoc.

That is hilarious OP and various other people. Sadly I cannot live up to all of this. I haven't really had any funny stuff happen. I guess my funniest moment was I was on teh Moon yesterday, was running around getting Helium Filaments (every piece of armor I have or am planning on getting needs them for upgrades), and I was going back around toward the starting area from the Hellmouth area, and I see this ramp and am like "alright, guess I'll jump this instead of going around." So I do that, but apparently I was at the wrong angle, and ended up dieing in a hole. So I'm like alright, I'll just go around the hole this time. So I spawn back in and start boosting forward again, and BAM! Dead in teh exact same hole. So I'm jsut thinking "what? I thought I was back a bit" (because teh rock you go up to go from teh Hellmouth to the starting area of the Moon looks exactly like the rock I jumped off to my doom)...so yeah...that's all I got.

Fighting Sepkis Prime for Nightfall weekly last week with my buddy. My buddy went down. Sepkis was at the point where you can't see any yellow left in his health. Thought it'd be awesome if I fired a rocket launcher at him and revive my mate after he's dead. Hit the railing of the stairs infront of me, killing myself. I laughed, then I cried. Then I got angry and cried again when we were returned to orbit. ... I still don't think he has forgiven me for that. But we went straight back in and got it done, thankfully. As we were about to kill Sepkis the second time he very appropriately made sure I wasn't going to be using a rocket launcher again..

Dust Palace. Final Boss fight. I jumped up to use Fist of Havoc on a Colossus + Psion Boss on the left platform. (I have the Superman upgrade, where you can aim it) So I missed horribly. In fact I overshot the entire platform, and I ended up Superman Diving past everything to my death. My Rez Ghost appear right on the railing of the platform. So every time one of the people in my Fireteam tried to rez me, I fell right back down into the abyss.

Also, in the tower playing football with my clan, the ball got stuck in a corner so all six of us tried to retrieve it. One clan member jumped against the corner and I walked underneath him. We both then decided to see how many clan members we could make a human tower with. We got to four, but it was just so funny.

2 RepliesI was doing a strike when a hit a guy with my sparrow. Long story short, he broke the sound barrier and died on impact with the mountainside .

I also got hit by a warsat, but it didn't have as much of a sense of comedic timing as that one.

On crucible talking about how well I was doing and that I think I could beat my measly low kill streak for once, then I run up to a group of people taking over our base, go to use fist of havoc, but misjudge it, miss them all completely and fall of the edge of the map. My whole clan laughed all night :(
