the Best Thing I've Seen In This Game
So my buddy and I were patrolling on the moon, and I was just dancing on a cliff while he was finishing the Knuckleduster (Melee 30 enemies w/o dying) bounty.
I said, "Watch you die with one left, haha"
Right then a public event happened and it said protect the Warsat, so I jumped and glided 360 style looking for where it will land.
Two or three flashes of light and a humongous boom later, I see that my comrade has fallen. The Warsat landed right on top of him in a big open field where it could of crashed anywhere!
He had one kill left when he died... I was literally crying because I was laughing so hard.
Anyone care to share their funniest Destiny moment?
Update: I was patrolling on Mars, chest farming and I was hit by a cabal shield, and like many I was sent flying. But not into a wall or another cabal like everyone else.
I flew about 350 feet above the exclusion zone wall straight up into the air and hit the invisible ceiling. It scared me so hard I blinked back up into the ceiling a second time before misjudging my blink to try to land safely and imprinted my body into the sand between 4 cabal instead, haha. I could see the curvature of Mars basically, haha.
Update 2: Botched a grenade in PvP on Blind watch, bouncing it in a doorway just after an enemy enters, I try to run out right when it explodes and I kill myself and the burn gets him, so he got no points due to the suicide, and I got the kill, had me laughing for a while of how pissed and flabbergasted he must of been of that incredible luck.

7 RepliesThere has been countless funny moments but the one that sticks in my mind is when me and my titan friend were playing the cabal strike on Mars. It was the bit where you fight the tank. I heard my friend singing the superman themetune , I look up to the top of a cliff where his is dancing, he then shouts "I'm coming Lois Lane!" And uses his super to dive onto the tank from the cliff. I couldn't move I was laughing so hard!

2 RepliesSaw 5 guardians on a single control point on rusted lands. Hello nova bomb merciless kill. Glide up to throw Nova Bomb around corner. Swing right stick too far, hit wall so far that even vortex isn't hitting them. 5 auto rifles turn me into Swiss cheese before I even hit the ground.

I was doing a strike mission on Venus and decided to save ammunition by doing a roadkill with my sparrow. I gunned my engines when I saw this Knight standing in the middle of the road. Just when I was about to hit him, he raised up his dark shield and smashed into it. The violent impact killed my sparrow and killed me.

I was doing winters run strike mission, the archon priest glitches with his teleport into the wall and fell off the map.... he was never seen again

I was once a young and foolhardy warlock doing carefree exploration on the moon. Then I got a bounty telling me to get 9000 exp without dying. How hard can it be? It's fairly easy to do that on patrol and it's nice when you get the patrol bounty too. So 8674 exp later I had one last bounty to do and it tells me to go to the Temple of Crota. Figured I would be done after that mission...until I gassed my sparrow off the cliff right before the entrance. I bailed out quickly and tried to glide back. I was so close...

2 RepliesI punched a guy in the crucible and I knocked him back from me hitting him and he hit the wall, making the impact kill him. I didn't get the kill. :P

We were doing a strike mission, I told my friend "Don't die, let's try and get the achievement" my friend instantly walked off the map. "Guardian down!"

I told my friend on the Cabal strike mission "If they hit you with a shield, you'll go to space" on queue I see my friend go flying out of a building into a rock and then his death

I've done it to three separate friends unintentionally xD A close second is seeing people farming the Christmas cave on old Russia's skywatch get crushed by a warsat. OVERKILL! (I have no qualms with what they were doing, but when that sky goes dark, y'all need to scatter like ants. The warsat knows neither friend or foe) JUST REMEMBERED A THIRD! During a mission there's a section on earth where you kill a load of dregs, then a door opens up (It's near the ghost in a locker). And as the door opened up, it lifted the dregs corpse up into the air, and it was just handing their with one of the extrusions from the bottom of the door stuck in his neck. I was hysterically laughing, whilst also trying to get my xbox to record the event, whilst some vandals and a captain rushed through and slaughtered me. I think it was all part of their master plan xD

3 RepliesYou know those annoying times when one your fire team just stands there looking at his inventory for a long time.In the Moon Strike Mission, I just push him of to the edge and wait. Once he's done with his inventory, he went straight down the pits and die. His reaction was priceless XD

Similar thing happened to my buddy we rushed to the warsat and he stood there and was like.. "Where is it, I'm scanning but i don't see it." And I'm looking at him as the satellite crashes into him.. "Trust you to get killed by a satellite...ill get you up... Sigh"

Coolest thing ever? A friendly Dreg. Weird glitch. It wouldn't even move. at all. lol. it was breathing and chattering. sadly, my teammate didn't realize and shot it in the head 4 seconds after I finished teabagging it.

I was out and those and dancing, tried to jump back in one go, my body rag dolled as I missed and hit the side, cause it to flail about dramatically like like "BRO, WHY LIKE WHAT IS THIS OMG HELP"

First off, awesome post, love this stuff :) 2nd, my fireteam was patrollin the moon, buddy of mine went afk on his sparrow, so happens he was next to a cliff, so i pushed him off. Lol. Mean i know, but it gets better. After he comes back i res him and he pulls out his rocket launcher, starts backin up, to which i respond with ward of dawn, timing was perfect! Bubble popped right as he fired, blew himself to smitherenes. I was laughin so hard! And hes just over there grumblin, lmao

This wasnt really funny but... I had just finished latin class when i went to play destiny, and i wnt to the tower. Looked down and saw latin writing saying (The Court Of Champions) and thought that was awesome!

There was this time where, somehow, a Dreg got caught between the two protrusions on the front of my sparrow. [i]That[/i] was pretty funny. It eventually died, though.

there is a radio antenae type deal on mars where the big wall is at vex and cabal are fighting each other. if you triple jump just right, you can land on the shorter one. if you wait long enough, a cabal drop ship shows up right next to you and you can jump on the roof and dance. then it will fly you straight up for a bit before shoving you through the ship itself when you get caught on the skybox.

1 ReplyMe and my 2 friends were playing 3 on 3. All of us were in a small room and around the corner comes a member of the opposite team rocking a rocket launcher. Easy triple kill he says to himself... He fires a rocket at us and my friend pops up the titan shield. Dude ends up blowing himself up and we almost die laughing. Happy times.

Used ward of dawn in crucible and the three people outside of it empty their clips into the wall then I ran out with the gauge and destroyed them. It was pretty funny. On the flip side the next game I bounced a grenade off my own shield and killed myself...equally funny. I love this game.

Defender is in his bubble shield with some escort hunter up his behind trying to get 25 points off his every shot. I come in kill the hunter and laugh as he squeels titan sees me. Wot. We stand their watching eachother he comes out then runs back in. Denied love. A true tradgedy of two titans split by war. *sniff*

1 Replythe rag doll physics are the funniest sh*t in this game. Can't even count how many times I've just burst out laughing over the mic in crucible from myself and others flying carcasses just flying all over the place doing backflips and landing in the most ridiculous positions.

So i was playing a little crucible the other day and the game was really close. We were playing control on the moon( in my opinion the worst map ever) and out of the corner of my eye i see a hunter from the opposing team use his super, which was golden gun. Assuming he was about to try and clear area C, i was going to attempt to snipe him. So i got out my sniper and was about to aim and he wasn't their... I then see this on the left hand side of the screen"d-man34 is down" then i see it. He had hopped off a tiny hill and he died. Glitch? Possibly but he could have been on low health. However its the funniest thing I've seen.
