the Best Thing I've Seen In This Game
So my buddy and I were patrolling on the moon, and I was just dancing on a cliff while he was finishing the Knuckleduster (Melee 30 enemies w/o dying) bounty.
I said, "Watch you die with one left, haha"
Right then a public event happened and it said protect the Warsat, so I jumped and glided 360 style looking for where it will land.
Two or three flashes of light and a humongous boom later, I see that my comrade has fallen. The Warsat landed right on top of him in a big open field where it could of crashed anywhere!
He had one kill left when he died... I was literally crying because I was laughing so hard.
Anyone care to share their funniest Destiny moment?
Update: I was patrolling on Mars, chest farming and I was hit by a cabal shield, and like many I was sent flying. But not into a wall or another cabal like everyone else.
I flew about 350 feet above the exclusion zone wall straight up into the air and hit the invisible ceiling. It scared me so hard I blinked back up into the ceiling a second time before misjudging my blink to try to land safely and imprinted my body into the sand between 4 cabal instead, haha. I could see the curvature of Mars basically, haha.
Update 2: Botched a grenade in PvP on Blind watch, bouncing it in a doorway just after an enemy enters, I try to run out right when it explodes and I kill myself and the burn gets him, so he got no points due to the suicide, and I got the kill, had me laughing for a while of how pissed and flabbergasted he must of been of that incredible luck.

5 Repliesmy buddy and i were playing the beta and we found the trail leading down to the room underneath the helicopters with the lvl 20 knight. we didnt know it was in there and he rushed in first and i stood back. my buddy immediately backs up and the knight comes charging out and kills the guy in one hit with its sword. from my point of view it was hilarious :)

11 RepliesOne time me and my buddy were engram farming, i had all blue engrams and he was lucky and got a legendary engram, so we go back to the tower to decrypt them all, and i said watch you not get a legendary weapon and watch me get it instead, so right as we decrypt our engrams, i get a exotic weapon and he gets a green gun! :P I laughed so hard and he raged so much!

Anytime you're partied with friends is a fun time. A couple of days ago I was doing a strike mission that turned into a relic iron farming mission. We would block doorways with our sparrows or point out a chest and just ram each other while harvesting. In the end it took us about an hour to do a strike mission.

I did the Devils Layer strike yesterday. During the servitor I managed to kill a dreg. His body was leaned against a wall and his head was inside it....I could only imagine him saying.....man I really derped as he beat his head against the wall till it got stuck.

I can't tell you how many times Fallen or Hive would go out of there way to protect their brethren. Example, I aim to headshot an acolyte, and as I literally pull the trigger, another one jumps in front. First time that happened, I laughed pretty hard.

In the strike to kill that commander and his lieutenants, used blink strike on a phalanx and got whacked in the face with his shield mid stride, sent flying into the wall behind him extremely fast.

The VERY FIRST kill I got was on some Dreg. When he died he glitched into a wall and started twerking. I recorded it and everything lol.

I was playing PvP, and this guy came running down a passage close to the edge of a map. I threw down a grenade hoping he would run onto if, but he shotgunned me. As I was in the death cam, the grenade exploding and he went spinning off the map in spread eagle.

Then we wandered across to the corridor that leads to the speakers chamber and spent more time than is sensible using the gap between the stairs and the wall as a slide. Then we played some hide and seek and finally dribbled the purple ball into the speakers chamber and into the pit below the spinning relic for some fun that should never of ended. There was also the time my brother explained that if you melee the glowing Vex containers you can get loot that increases you magic find. Cheers for that bro.

Me and a friend were trying to see how far we could go in the water in forgotten shore. I decided using a sparrow was the best idea. So I jump on my sparrow and gun it out on the water. 2 seconds later my sparrow blows me sky high and my buddy just happened to have his cross hairs right on it. We were dying laughing.

Playing control maat mons, only player on b just fought off the hoarde known as the other team when this guy runs straight at me, Im firing at him when I need to reload, got the angry blinking light that represents my life moments form death and he falls off the cliff.

Two of my friends and I were doing a level 20 Vanguard strike for the lieutenant guy and we were at the tank. I was also trying to do the finish a strike with no deaths bounty and had already died. The tank was down to practically no health and I popped my arc blade and ran up to it to fight it with my fists because I already died so I said -blam!- it. Turns out both my buddies were dead and they said not to do it because I was the last one but it was too late. I was already there. Then the tank runs me over and we had to restart.

Right in front of me 3 oblivious enemies were blasting down the hall at one of the control points. I went to work with my hand cannon (11 bullets in the mag). Dropped the first two guys in the blink of an eye with headshots. The last guy had managed to turn and start spraying bullets at me before he got himself a lead headache. Felt like a straight up badass gunslinger after that. Loving the PVP!

Me and my friends were messing around in hall with our sparrows, my friend hit me with his which sent me into the wall, killing me, and started the sparrow ramming war. In won going 7-1

7 RepliesAny moment that includes the purple ball is [i]always[/i] a fun time. It created a war between those who wanted it down in the vanguard area and those who wanted it off the edge. The funniest part was, when it eventually flew over the edge, several guardians dove after it like lambs to the slaughter :)

2 RepliesI am actually making a video of the incident that occurred, coming soon! We were on the moon fighting the hive where there is a bridge with an eye on the other side. Some hive come running across towards us and my friend decides to charge them and use his special, he is a titan. He uses it and it propels him into the air and... off of the side of the bridge. That was hilarious. Of course not 3 minutes later on our way back out I decide to use a shortcut with my awesome warlock glide and fall short and down into a deep dark abyss. Needless to say it was his turn to bust a gut.

I was on earth doing patrols for vanguard rep and I mounted my sparrow to get to the next location, as I turned a corner I hit a rock and began to barrel roll down the road, I traveled down the hill, off the cliff and into the water at which point I died... It was the longest, funniest, and most painful to watch sparrow crash ever

1 ReplyMy best was in the beta. I got the 360 version to play with my friends, and already had a level 8 character by the time they got on. We were walking, we were on forgotten shore, up at the little rest stop type thing on the side, above the chest. He gets off his sparrow, which was flaming from all the shots he took, and said something about how sturdy it was. I mocked it, and while standing directly in front of it, punched it. It boosted forwarded, exploding, sending me flying off the cliff into the no respawn zone. I died running back while I heard him physically crying of laughter.

7 RepliesThere has been countless funny moments but the one that sticks in my mind is when me and my titan friend were playing the cabal strike on Mars. It was the bit where you fight the tank. I heard my friend singing the superman themetune , I look up to the top of a cliff where his is dancing, he then shouts "I'm coming Lois Lane!" And uses his super to dive onto the tank from the cliff. I couldn't move I was laughing so hard!
