WTF is the Cryptarch's problem?
The cryptarch is Pure Evil.
After HOURS of grinding I finally get a Primary Weapon Legendary Enegram and do you know what that asshole gave me?

Level 8 Cryptarch, all legendeary engrams I have gotten have been -blam!-ing blue. Pretty sure rank does not matter at all and it's plain RNG

I've had 6 purple engrams now. No joke, I got 2 greens, 3 less-than-lvl-20 blues, and one turned into 2 motes of light. 3 of those engrams I got as a gift from leveling up my Cryptarch rep. I'm convinced they're doing it on purpose now.

I feel the pain have had 17 legendary engrams and I finally got a legendary shotgun which I dont use to often. The rest coins blues and so on. Doesnt stop me from grinding away though I actually like it keeps be busy.

4 RepliesI've turned in at least 5 RARE items and the -blam!-ing things just disappear. I just got motes of light. Is that right? each of them had a picture of a gun, helmet, body armor or gauntlet and i got motes of f*ing light. I've bought GREEN colored (uncommon) things from him and he decrypted them into regular sucky items that were 9 levels below mine (lvl 20). I think there's something wrong with it for sure.

8 RepliesAfter being shafted 5 times out of legendary gear I beat the shit out of him with the soccer ball and threatened him with the almighty purple ball and he gave in and gave me a set of legendary boots.

Got my first 2 legendary engrams today. One was a Legendary LMG, "The Swarm" the other was gauntlets which were blue rarity yet lvl 16 (I'm level 23) I can already smell the bullshit miles away

Iv turned in 10 legendary engrams and not one has given me anything better than a rare.... The rates were worse gear than the gear I already had.

3 RepliesThe Cryptarch is pretty stupid, and Bungie really needs to fix him. I leveled him up to 4, finally got a purple, legendary drop, and when I decrypted it, I got a green item for it. It really took the nice feeling I had, and turned it into rage. If Bungie doesn't want people to have too many legendaries, and have them work for it more, then they should make the chance of drops even less. If you pick up a green, it should be green, and if you pick up a purple, it should decrypt into a damn legendary. This chance of getting something else ruins the fun of the game for me. I also wish Destiny didn't drop class specific items, like 'bonds' for Warlocks. Those are worthless in the game. If I want to look prettier, I'll spend money, but working on the game, only to get a drop for something that is worthless to armor or attack is really stupid.

Funny thing is rare engrams have a higher chance of giving you a legendary you actually want cuz they'll always be your classes item.
