I've kept a log: flatworm, cattle, caterpillar, caterpillar, cattle, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, hawk, caterpillar, caterpillar, hawk, caterpillar, hawk, eel, hawk, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, hawk, hawk, caterpillar, caterpillar, caterpillar, hawk, hawk, , caterpillar, hawk, caterpillar, hawk, hawk, caterpillar, cattle, cattle, cattle, hawk, caterpillar, cattle, cattle, caterpillar, hawk, hawk, caterpillar, centipede, groundhog.
This is all in one day. I've set up a static IP, opened ports as specified by Microsoft support, re-downloaded my profile, cleared cache, set network settings to factory default, rebooted console, restarted modem, changed LAN lines, tried 2.4GHz WiFi, 5GHz WiFi, switched off every device on the network, and even performed a satanic ritual.
I've spent more time fiddling with networks and disconnections than I have spent playing and the frustration hardly seems worth it. Is Bungie doing anything.... ANYTHING at all? They seem to communicate more about upcoming events rather than fixing the current problems. The game is incredible and extremely fun to play when it works, but I'd appreciate if it would actually work.
What more is there left for me to do?

4 RepliesI feel your pain that list looks practically the same as mine, normally I'm an extremely calm person but whenever I have tried to play destiny in the past week my controller has nearly taken flying lessons. I have tried all of the so called fixes and if anything yesterday and today have been the worst for connection issues. All I want is for a dev to post a topic saying yes we are aware of the issues and are trying as hard as possible to get a fix to you...that will calm a lot of people down (granted it will probably enrage some). Personally if a company keeps in contact I will be much more lenient with them as such issues are understandable and would require a lot of work to fix. Beyond a post on Saturday I've not seen anything from a developer explaining anything. I'm having a blast with this game (usually until the screen turns black and displays an error) and can't wait to play it properly but at the moment I feel like I've waisted £80 and perhaps it's more trouble than it's worth.
