Has Anyone heard new information from the Cory guy or anyone else from COPPER BEECH IT department? The update came out today was suppose to make them able to fix it much more easily. I wan to know if they are aware of the update and the changes it made

Cory, is there anyway you or someone else can briefly summarize why Copper Beech specifically has this problem? Basically, whats the core issue here? I am just very curious as to why it keeps blocking all copper beech residents from accessing Bungie's servers. Thanks!

The copper beech (and most of the universities I assume) servers were identifying the destiny traffic as BitTorrent, which is obviously commonly blocked on bulk/shared networks

No ETA at the current time, have yet to hear back from Bungie about the updates.

Yes there is but they have not contacted copper beech IT as far as we know. It's not an update for the game, it's an update on some security device I think

Yes, he has emailed them and is waiting for a response. After they give him the necessary info for the fix, they will get on it. Isn't a long process, it just depends on when they respond

Just read the comments from Cory in the replies a couple posts down this feed. Cory, or snakes, any eta on the update meant to help fix the problem? What are the chances it is fixed before the end of tonight?

Yeah, im in copper beech too. Bungie hasnt released the patch yet, but its only 3pm at the bung headquarters so they still have time.
