Xbox 360 installs every time I start the game
Hi there I have been having a problem on my Xbox 360 where every time I start up the game it does the 5.51gb install. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it?

22 RepliesTry clearing the hard drive cache five times. You would think once should do it, but the posts I read say to do it five times.

2 RepliesI am sorry for the people in this thread that are having(or have had) this issue. Let me see if I can sum this up. 1. This issue is usually caused by a corrupted install of one or more of the patches that have been released since the game has come out. This can be caused by many things such as an unexpectedly interrupted download, packet loss, or a hardware malfunction. 2. This issue can usually be fixed by clearing your cache. Some consoles provide this feature but the simple, universal, way to do this is to turn off your console and unplug it for 10 minutes. Some people have had to do this several times (5-10 in some cases). When this works it will require one last install but then it should be fine. 3. If that does not work then a full re-install of the game may be necessary. I hope that helps.
