easier way to farm engrams?
My friend gets them out the wazoo playing strikes, i get much less and when theyre rare they end up being green when i decrypt them... I got some blues today but they had much less light than what i had equipped from campaign drops

My friend got 2 Legendaries in one Lvl 8 Devil's Lair yesterday. We found thats not a half bad way to get Rares and the occasional Legendary.

4 RepliesGo to Venus. Go to Ishtar commons. There is a vex and fallen battle. Kill all of one army go to another. Once you kill the second the first one has already spawned again. It's really nice. (:

1 ReplyThe only way engrams can be grind is by just playing strikes all the time. There is a strike playlist. But remember, that all drops are random. There loot system is based on just randomness and "luck" and let me repeat it "luck" I'm fully legendary but my helm. I've had the luckiest shit ever. Just grind mobs around patrol and strikes with randoms. Have fun! Love it! And most of all if you spam engrams your cytrach merchant will give you legendaries envelopes that you can open from the post master and decrypt ( those are also luck). On a last note, don't expect your first legendary engrams to be gear because bungie likes sticking a screw up your hole and telling you that you won't get it. Just saying haha.

One thing I noticed is engram's tend to drop more for me when I kill multiple mobs at once, like with grenades or any special power.
