vanguard marks/factions
I have done many patrols and have not gained any Vanguard marks. I've looked online and everything says you gain about 10 points for every patrol when under lvl20 I'm still at zero! Some things have talked about changing your faction, how do you do that and is that my problem?

Edited by SYN Prada: 9/14/2014 4:10:17 AMWhat they should have told you is that patrols get you vanguard "reputation". While they don't get you marks you are working on getting your Vanguard rank up. From what I've seen you need to be Vanguard Rank 2 to buy anything legendary. The best way to get marks is: Be at level 18 Vanguard Bounties Playing the strike missions on 20 or higher (you can find them just left of the crucible on your map) Playing the daily/weekly challenges All of this will get you reputation as well. Remember the harder a level you play in the challenges and strikes means the more pay out.
