Destiny online game play uses a similar internet connection protocol and the internet service providers have firewalls in place to block these connections. However, even though you're not pirating movies and songs, the firewalls don't know any better and they block your internet connection. The good guys at Bungie are working their ass off to create a work around for this issue so stop badgering them. But for the time being, follow this basic guide so you don't miss out on any game play this weekend. [b]So how do you fix it?!?!?[/b] 1. Create a VPN internet connection on your Desktop or Laptop, I personally use IP-Vanish.com but you have to pay for their service, however, there are free VPN services out there. A VPN service will encrypt your internet connection in a secret language that your service provider's firewall won't under stand, therefore, it will bypass it. If you don't know how create a VPN connection, grow up and google it. 2. Once you've established a VPN connection on your PC, you then have to bridge a connection between your console and your PC. Essentially, you will have to run an Ethernet cord from your console to your computer. This process is different for every console so google search how to do it. Basically, your console will receive its internet connection from your PC, and your PC will get its connection from your encrypted service. 3. Boot up your console and establish a connection to your game network. Jump back on Destiny and start playing to your heart's desire! No one should have to miss out this weekend and not be able to play the greatest online console game of our time.
