Hi all. When visiting the star map and looking at the mission icons (Level 4 Story, Level 5 Story, etc.), some icons have just a star and some icons have the star surrounded by a laurel-like wreath. What is the difference? At first I thought it was difficulty, but after playing a plain star on Hard it seemed to make no difference. Perhaps it is completing one without dying, but I don't think that's the case either. Am I missing something simple? Thanks in advance for your help.

1 ReplyThe bigger missions with the wreaths are "main story missions" that follow the main story line (As soon as you do the 2 main ones on earth, you unlock the moon, etc) The smaller stars are "side missions", like the shrine of oyrx, where you go complete a minor quest that doesn't directly effect the main story.

3 RepliesIt's the story missions. You look at the * with a wreath and the level for the mission to determine the right story progression. The just * missions are simply to get you XP so you'll be level 8 by the time you unlock the level 8 mission

I would actually really like to know this as well. I thought it should show the wreath if you completed this mission on hard difficulty. But after playing that mission five times, with and without friends, it doesn't seem to do anything different. However it appears that this thought process applies for the first two story missions. So, what is the real meaning of the star vs star w/wreath?
