That list of schools is far from comprehensive, it's just a compilation of people who had commented earlier in this thread. Just see if you can contact your school's IT department and keep calm and try to be patient. There isn't anything any of us can do until Bungie or our network admins sort this out.

It's not a state by state issue, it's network by network. I can't speak for either Bungie or your school. Your best options at this point are contacting IT to make them aware of the issue and waiting. The issue has been narrowed down to Destiny being blocked for using P2P traffic that gets blocked under the same umbrella schools use to stop torrent file sharing. I've seen comments suggesting that a company many schools use for that kind of service is aware of the problem and working on a fix, which may affect your school, though I have no way to know that. Alternatively many schools' IT departments are working on or have already found fixes of their own.
