The ticket may be reexamined later in the year after the high priority tickets are completed. The firewall blocks incoming connection attempts only. Applications such as games that don't work due to the firewall are likely attempting to publish services to, and accept unlimited connections from, the entire Internet. That is not allowed. Our Procera device blocks, via heuristics, a variety of protocols typically used in file sharing applications that would flood the network with large amounts of non-academic, non-business traffic and crowd out other users. Applications such as games that don't work may also be attempting to leverage such protocols. That is not allowed."
