Kennesaw State here. This is what our IT group said:
We have had several complaints regarding the game Destiny but please do not fret. The issue does not rely on our network, but with the programming of the game created by Bungie.

KSU Housing does not block any ports, such as,
Destiny Port Range
Direction
7500-17899 (TCP)
Outbound
30000-40399 (TCP)
Outbound
35000-35099 (UDP)
Inbound and Outbound
3074 (UDP)
Inbound and Outbound
Bungie has not properly coded, nor fixed the long reported centipede bug for the game to work in a school environment.
They should be working on a timely fix for this issue and I would advise directing complaints to their forums, as every other game on Xbox Live and Playstation Network has been programmed to work in school environments.
If you have any other issues with your network connectivity please let us know.
