No Offense to Peter Dinklage but...
I wish they got someone else to voice Ghost. Sometimes he's so bland that it pulls away from the experience. It feels like they made him say the line and he didn't really know what the heck was going on so he just said words...Idk how to explain it but I feel like Ghost could have been so much better if it was voiced by someone else. Ah well...
This brings up another point, wouldn't it have been awesome if they had different Ghosts to choose from and each one had a different voice? I realize that's WAY too much work but it still would have been awesome.
Edit: I finished the main missions and around Venus his voice did grow on me. Would I have liked a different voice? Maybe, but his voice did grow on me.

2 RepliesTotally agree. It feels like he often has no idea what the context is for his lines. He's often apathetic, and when he does sound emotional it sounds VERY forced. I get that he's a robot, but he's also I highly advanced AI designed to be a companion to a human.

I like ghost. If the voice sounds a little bland them that's what the character is to me. He's a robot, after all. I like my Guardian's ghost.

1 ReplyI think he did a good job. As it seems they were trying for a emotionless voice since it is a robot. taking that into account he did well. Yea a more cheerier voice might be better sounding or funny... i mean it could be worse it could be claptrap from borderlands and after an hour you could b like wont this thing just shut up allready

I honestly find it almost perfect. This wasn't meant to be Cortana. Morgan Freeman would sound out of place. It is a good balance of calm, scientific, and only spurts of emotion. It is what I would expect out of a small robotic sidekick.
