From what I've seen, it looks like most people have the downloadable version of the game. I, for one, am using the disc and still having the same problems. Has anyone done any research into the differences possibly? I was guessing that TheBrogrammer was using downloaded versions and that's how he was able to subvert using another downloadable game, and I don't think that method works with a disc (tried on PS4, that may also be why it didn't work).
I've got class, so I'll check up when I can. Stay calm guys.

I have gotten an email back from our tech guys and they say they area still working on the issue even though I did sent them what Bungie themselves has said to cause the problems to open the ports up but I think they just pushed it aside.

Also it is possible that opening the ports is more difficult than expected so they need more time. I just don't want to jump to the worst case scenario. I have hope.

Good point. Hopefully later today we can finally start our characters up and have some fun playing this game.

You and me both. At other universities things look like stuff is starting to work. I pray that by the end of the day the whole thing will be behind us and we can enjoy playing some -blam!-ing Destiny.

Yeah for sure, wanna go through the campaign together and go for the harder difficulties and more xp and loot? I played the Beta version rocking a Warlock build and that what i plan on doing as soon as we can jump in.

Definitely when we can. Schedules will probably vary, but we'll see. I like the idea, and I played Alpha and Beta and I like the Titan so sounds good to me.

Right now. And so far it still is popping up the centipede error.

It looks like the whole Port thing from Bungie isn't working out and is something more than just opening ports. Most likely we'll have to wait until Bungie does something specific for Universities until we can play. Doesn't look like IT people at schools will be able to solve the problem alone.

Well I am not sure there's much we can do besides keep reminding. Maybe they are working on it, maybe they aren't. Can't really tell. I'll try to talk to my friend at ResNet in hopes for some better results. I'm sure he won't hear the end of it since there are tons of people complaining to him so I imaging he will make something happen. Things definitely look more bleak as time passes, but I definitely see it all coming together at some point. When? Impossible to tell.
